The lyrical slow second movement of the 2002 Sonata for French Horn and Piano inspired by the natural beauty of the Cuyahoga River Valley and the lands of the Western Reserve and written for William Hoyt.   Mr. Hoyt together with pianist Laura Silverman premiered the work in the Spring of 2003. The above mp3 files feature William Hoyt, Horn and Laura Silverman, Piano and Travis Scott, Euphonium and Anna Ho Piano.   The Trombone and Trumpet transcription mp3s are midi versions.  The duration of the movement is approximately 5 minutes.
